Let's Meet
My name is Brittany Barrett and I am the proud owner of SCHOOLED. Costa Mesa is my hometown, and it's where I am now raising my two little girls. With over a decade of experience as an educator, I've focused mainly on elementary school students. The inception of SCHOOLED began as a successful tutoring side hustle where I observed a genuine desire from parents to support their children. Working with children is my passion. I'm dedicated to building a supportive relationship with them, and I take joy in helping them become their best selves.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Kelly Spitalnick
My daughter needed some extra help with her letter sounds, counting, and getting caught up to her peers. Within only a couple weeks of tutoring with Brittany we noticed a difference in Annie; her confidence with letter sounds, counting, ect. Brittany keeps my daughter engaged and makes learning fun. It’s so wonderful to have a tutor that you know your child is in good hands with. My daughter walks away from each lesson happy and she has grown so much in her understanding of letters, letter sounds, letter combinations, counting, math, ect.

Thank you so much for the prep session with our pod of girls. Alexa was so excited when she was able to connect what she learned with you and with what was taught in school! Both girls felt prepared for a successful start to first grade! Looking forward to our next group session in January.

We are so thankful for Mrs. Barrett! Not only was she our daughters favorite teacher, but we've been lucky enough to have her over weekly to tutor in math. Mrs. Barrett has completely changed our child's outlook on math- giving her so much confidence and bringing her C up to almost an A! We are endlessly thankful for her kindness and patience and presence in our lives!
